Snatch thief on a bike
My legs were trembling yesterday - due to fear. It was most obvious when I was stepping on the clutch right after I got into the car (and trying to drive back home).
I thought I was about to get robbed. =(
The story's the same old thing told by many. I was all alone, walking down a road on the pathway, when a motorcyclist came up to me and got my attention. He said "Hi Cik, bagaimana nak pergi tempat xxxx?" [ Translated: Hi miss, how do u get to this xxxx place? ]. I was shocked and by then have already walked closer to the drain (further from the road & the motorcyclist).
I was SHAKING and thought to myself "Please don't get off ur bike, please don't!!".. And THANK GOD he didn't! He was genuinely asking for directions. When I said "tak tau" [ Translated: I dunno ], he looked disappointed and rode off. I was so relieved!!!! I uttered the words "Sorry, eh", in great relief!! :O
I am really really grateful and blessed that the Lord has protected me from danger!   To think that I do pray for protection sometimes, and that was the most "kan cheong" [ exciting? or scary ] part that (I can rmmbr that) I've faced after 25 years of my life.....
